How much money franchises have to give to retain players?

The auction purse has been increased by INR 20 crore, bringing the total to INR 120 crore (approximately US$ 14.3 million). If franchises wish to retain a player, they will need to pay INR 18 crore for the first retention, INR 14 crore for the second, and INR 11 crore for the third. For the fourth player, they will again need to pay INR 18 crore, and for the fifth retention, INR 14 crore. Meanwhile, uncapped players can be retained for INR 4 crore.
