Air high quality within the Los Angeles area has plummeted on account of smoke from the continuing wildfires. And with all that smoke comes potential dangers to human well being. So what truly is smoke? Jessica Gilman, an atmospheric chemist with the Nationwide Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, explains what it is fabricated from, the way it behaves within the ambiance, and smoke’s position in local weather change.
