Paris Olympics 2024: Workforce USA sending extra ladies than males for the fourth consecutive Summer time Olympics

For the fourth consecutive Summer time Olympics, Workforce USA might be sending a roster that includes extra ladies than males.

The U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee introduced the 592-member contingent on July 10 that is heading to the Paris later this month. The lineup options 314 ladies and 278 males, spanning ages from 16 to 59 and with 46 states represented.

There are 66 Olympic champions who’ve earned a mixed 110 gold medals and three five-time Olympians, together with basketball standout Diana Taurasi together with equestrians Steffen Peters and McLain Ward.

The opening ceremony in Paris takes place on July 26, with athletes assembling in boats that sail alongside the Seine River towards the Eiffel Tower. Competitors kicks off July 24 and ends Aug. 11.

Workforce USA is the favourite to high the medal desk, with Nielsen’s Gracenote forecasting 123 medals, with 37 of them gold.
