Pakistan has named the 16-member squad, led by Mohammad Haris, for the Rising Groups Asia Cup event which is able to start from October 18
The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced the 16-member squad for the upcoming Emerging Teams Asia Cup tournament. Pakistan Shaheens will be led by skipper Mohammad Haris in the tournament that will begin from October 18 in Oman. Pakistan will lock horns with arch-rivals India A on October 19 in what is set to be a mouth-watering clash.

The Pakistan squad comprises of several players who are currently out of the scheme of things for the national selectors. The experienced pool consists of talents including Haider Ali, Mohammad Abbas Afridi, Mohmmad Imran Jnr, Shahnawaz Dahani and others. The team is set to undergo a conventional camp in Karachi from October 11-15 before departing to Oman for the tournament.

Pakistan Shaheens are the defending champions and have been grouped alongside India A, Oman and UAE in group B. The top two sides from each group will qualify for the semi-finals scheduled to take place on 25 October. The final will take place on Sunday, 27 October.
