Shami blasts Sanjay Majrekar
Mohammed Shami was not happy with Majrekar’s statement and he went on to blast the former cricketer on social media. Shami went on to claim that Majrekar has turned into a fortune-teller. He claimed, “All hail to the baba. Keep some knowledge for yourself, as it will be of big help in the future. If anyone wants to know the future, please contact Sanjay G.”
What actually happened?
It was Sanjy Majhrekar who predicted Shami’s price in the IPL 2025 Mega Auction. The former India cricketer went on to explain given Shami’s injury concern. He claimed that if a team invests heavily in him and Shami becomes injured midway it will be a big hit for the team. Thus he believes that Shami’s price tag will drop.
“There will definitely be interest from teams, but given Shami’s injury history—and this recent one took a significant amount of time to recover—there’s always a concern about a potential breakdown during the season. If a franchise invests heavily and then loses him mid-season, their options become limited. This concern might lead to a drop in his price tag,” Sanjay Manjrekar.
