Jack Rowe and Lucy Reid triumph at Manchester Half

The duo each claimed course data and received convincingly over 13.1 miles

Jack Rowe and Lucy Reid had been each victorious on the Manchester Half Marathon (October 13).

The pair produced unbelievable performances and clocked respective course data of 62:12 and 69:13.

Rowe, who defended his title on the Manchester Half, went an unbelievable 28 seconds faster than his successful time final 12 months.

This was his second half-marathon in as many months, after triumphing on the Massive Half in 62:35.

The 28-year-old then spent a while on vacation in Greece and returned to the UK to say victory on the Vitality London 10,000 with a time of 29:14.

It’s been a surprising season for Rowe, who’s recorded private bests within the 1500m, 3000m, 5000m and 10,000m.

He additionally completed seventeenth over 5000m on the European Championships after which positioned third over the space on the UK Athletics Championships.

This was her fourth half-marathon of the season and the quickest by a distance.

In January, the 31-year-old completed sixth in Seville in a time of 70:30 earlier than successful the Cambridge Half two months later in 71:41.
