Costliest gamers in IPL public sale historical past

Rishabh Pant has damaged the document for the costliest participant in Indian Premier League historical past, with Rs. 27 crore within the IPL 2025 mega public sale.

The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 mega auction could witness a new record for the most expensive player, with Rishabh Pant becoming the highest-paid player in IPL auction history. LSG bought him for Rs. 27 crore for IPL 2025.

Shreyas Iyer has already surpassed the Rs. 24.75 crore mark, previously set by Mitchell Starc, who was bought by KKR in IPL 2024 for the same amount. But, Pant took over Iyer to become the cosliest player in the history.

Iyer has been bought by Punjab Kings as their second player with highest bid in IPL history with 26.75 crore on November 24 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The player has broken all record as he surpassed Starc to become most expensive player.
