The Ecuadorian Soccer Affiliation introduced his dying on Tuesday.
Angulo was a passenger in a single-car crash southeast of Quito on Oct. 7 that killed the motive force and one other passenger. Angulo sustained a head damage and lung contusion and had been put in a synthetic coma.
He had been on mortgage from FC Cincinnati to Ecuadorian top-flight aspect LDU Quito.
“We’re deeply saddened by the lack of Marco — a husband and father, a brother and son, a buddy and teammate. He was a joyful, variety younger man who lit up each room he entered,” FC Cincinnati mentioned in a workforce assertion. “Our total membership grieves this tragedy, and we’re considering of and praying for his household. Angulo joined Cincinnati in December 2022 from Independiente de Valle in Ecuador and was a part of Cincinnati’s 2023 workforce that gained the Supporters’ Protect, paying in 24 matches (9 begins) and posting two assists. He was with LDU Quito all the 2024 season.
