Over the following week, forecasts venture excessive warmth throughout a lot of the South, Midwest and components of the West. So, this episode, well being correspondent Pien Huang helps us take warmth coaching cues from Olympians, a lot of whom spent weeks getting ready for a sweltering Paris Olympics, by coaching within the warmth to get their our bodies used to scorching, humid climate.
However warmth coaching is not only for aggressive athletes. It is really helpful for folks within the army and people who work outside in scorching climate — and it may even be helpful for typically wholesome members of the general public.
Plus, we get into some necessary caveats about who’s greatest positioned to warmth practice — and why doing so does not decrease the issues of a warming local weather.
