Sneyd Striders managed to carry their occasion in Walsall on Sunday after volunteers from the membership rose at 6.30am to clear two fallen timber, together with a 75ft conifer, that have been blocking the route for the 600-strong discipline.
The membership stated: “The race went forward on schedule in breezy however dry circumstances, a welcome reduction from the heavy rain of final 12 months.”
