The Governors Awards befell this weekend, and so they had been a trend and wonder feast. The low-key occasion hosted by the Academy of Movement Footage Arts and Science’s felt on par with the Met Gala: Jennifer Lawrence wore customized Bottega Veneta, Lupito Nyong’o wore make-up impressed by silent movies, and Lily-Rose Depp arrived wanting like a princess with a coiffure that goals are product of.

If you have not heard of the Governors Awards earlier than, we’ll admit: Neither had we. Happening on November 17 in Los Angeles, the ceremony occurs earlier than the Oscars and celebrates contributions and lifelong achievements in movie. On this case, an image actually is price a thousand phrases. Depp’s princess updo continues the prom-esque kinds we have been seeing throughout pink carpets all year long, with co-signs from Kaia Gerber, Bella Hadid, and naturally, now Depp. Talking of, Depp’s seems to be similar to the updo Hadid wore through the Cannes Movie Competition—which makes good sense, as they had been each the work of hairstylist Bryce Scarlett. We would wager that the look started by styling a slicked again bun that was then topped with curly ringlet extensions, positioned thoughtfully across the knot.

Depp’s voluminous curly updo is immediately eye catching, which is why the remainder of her glam was a little bit extra mushy and pared-back.
